Our Story

Years of experience running my own business and working in various corporate roles culminated in the creation of Distinctive Drinkware. Fueled by a bootstrapped mentality and a desire for improvement, I embarked on this journey. In 2025, we began developing our capability to print on glassware. Throughout that year, I created numerous screens, discarded many, and re-screened several frames. I made mistakes with pint glasses, but learned valuable lessons along the way.

What I discovered is that by printing the glasses myself, I can offer small-batch glassware to my customers, unlike many competitors who must produce full runs of 144 glasses to remain cost-effective.

The concept of advertising on pint glasses is straightforward- When customers are at a bar, restaurant, or diner, they typically sit with friends and discuss various life topics—the garage door needing repairs, renewing insurance, or selling a house—all while holding your branded glass. Remarkably, about one-third of the glasses at a bar often end up being taken home, placing your branding in their kitchen and enhancing recognition every time they use it.

When I create a new glass for an establishment, I concentrate on smaller batches—one or two cases—to keep things exciting and provide a fresh experience with each new drink. When customers see the same glass month after month, they stop noticing it, and the branding fades into the background. I rotate out the glasses approximately every 45 days, introducing new designs Are themed often times reflecting seasonal festivities. When I deliver new glassware to a restaurant, I also inspect the old ones, removing any that do not meet my quality standards to keep everything fresh and current.

Having lived in Western New York, I ensure that all my products are finished locally. I am committed to supporting local businesses, and whenever possible, I source all my drinkware blanks from a local restaurant supply store in Rochester.
